Two tiny explorers stand at the foot of a towering blue stalagmite in a vast cavern of glowing columns - See America, United States Travel Bureau. Alexander Dux designed this silkscreen poster in the late 1930s for the United States Travel Bureau's See America campaign, produced by the WPA Federal Art Project in New York City. As a work of the U.S. government it is in the public domain; this print reproduces it from the Library of Congress's high-resolution scan of an original poster, with the poster's own paper edge and small signs of age kept.
Why you'll love it
• A real 1930s See America poster, reproduced in full - not a modern WPA-style redraw

• Pairs with the other See America posters in our WPA collection
