Iznik Tile Print - Blue Saz Leaves, 16th Century Ottoman

Deep cobalt medallions of curling saz leaves and blossoms bloom across a field of small blue flowers, framed by a coral-red scalloped border. This tile panel was made in Iznik, Turkey, in the second half of the 16th century, the high point of Ottoman ceramic art. This print reproduces the original tile panel, now in the public domain, from a high-resolution open-access image by The Metropolitan Museum of Art (accession 17.190.2083), with the colors and the fine crackle of the glaze kept.
Why you'll love it
• A real Ottoman-era tile panel, reproduced in full - not a modern redraw
