Vintage Bar Sign Print - D.R. Entertainment Punch Bowl
Couldn't load pickup availability
A painted punch bowl decorated with red flowers sits under the initials "D.R." and above the word "Entertainment," inside a carved frame with turned columns and a scrolled crest - the sign of David Reed's early American tavern. This watercolor rendering of the original sign was made by Frances Cohen in 1938 for the Index of American Design, a WPA Federal Art Project that recorded American folk art. This print reproduces it, now in the public domain, from a high-resolution open-access image by the National Gallery of Art, Washington (object 20243).
