Two tall cobalt vines wave down this panel of six tiles, each curve holding a large blue carnation-tulip blossom with small green and turquoise flowers between. The panel was probably made in Damascus, Syria, in the 16th or 17th century, under Ottoman rule. This print reproduces the original tile panel, now in the public domain, from a high-resolution open-access image by The Metropolitan Museum of Art (accession 22.185.13a-f), with the colors and the fine crackle of the glaze kept.
Why you'll love it
• A real Ottoman-era tile panel, reproduced in full - not a modern redraw
