Two white kittens have tipped over a blue bowl of milk beside a golden vase of pink roses and are happily lapping up the spill. This hand-colored lithograph was published by Currier & Ives in New York in 1871 as part of their "Little White Kitties" series. This print reproduces the original, now in the public domain, from a high-resolution scan in the Library of Congress.
