For the one who plans every summer around Bar Harbor: acadia national park canvas art from 1851. A fisherman works the rocks as the sky turns pink over Newport Mountain, known today as Champlain Mountain, in this oil painting by Frederic Edwin Church. This canvas reproduces the work, now in the public domain, from a high-resolution image by the National Gallery of Art.
