Tennis Tournament by George Bellows - Vintage Tennis Painting 1920, Country Club Wall Art, Unframed Landscape, 14x11 18x12 24x16 30x20 36x24

A summer tennis match at Newport, Rhode Island, painted by George Bellows in 1920. A player in white lunges across the bright green court while spectators with parasols crowd the shaded lawn beneath tall trees. Bellows, a keen tennis player himself, painted it after spending the summer of 1919 near Newport. This print reproduces the original painting (National Gallery of Art, Washington), now in the public domain, from the museum's own open-access image.

Why you'll love it
